A. Leaha Crawford
Leaha Crawford, president and founder of Crawford Management Group, has an extensive background in accounting and business development principles with a specialization in small-business development. She has more than 22 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, delivering bookkeeping, tax preparation and management services to a diverse clientele.
Crawford established Crawford Management Group in 2007. Previously, she was a consultant and trainer for All-in-one Financial Services, operations manager for Fighting AIDS In Our Community Today, consultant to New Metropolitan Management & Consulting Services, a staff auditor with Thompson, Cobb, Bazilio & Associates P.C. and a finance manager for Door to Door Recovery, Inc. She lived in Houston, Washington, D.C., and Chicago before making Las Vegas her home.
She has extensive experience as a financial expert with helping organizations and corporations prepare tax returns, establish 501 © 3 status, maintain discernible bookkeeping records and other financial documents for internal and external purposes. As a trainer and consultant, she demonstrated leadership and emphasized team-building strategies to help companies grow. She assisted clients with developing operational/financial policies and procedures designed to ensure sound internal controls and customer focus.
Additionally, she gives her expertise to various groups through community service. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Theta Theta Omega Las Vegas Chapter, and the Las Vegas Urban League Ad Hoc Finance Committee. Leaha serves as the treasurer for Girl Friends – Las Vegas Chapter, Las Vegas Urban League Young Professionals.
She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and a Masters of Business Administration – Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
